With the cold weather seemingly in for the foreseeable future, the expectations of the Brackley match on Saturday going ahead must be next to nil, so if the match is postponed and you're experiencing withdrawal symptoms from Penydarren Park why not head down to the Candac Suite on Saturday and take part in the Pub Olympics from 2pm?

There will also be a raffle to raise funds to cover the cost of Gary Shephard and the team holding an indoor training session that morning.
A dvd of classic Merthyr matches will be on show during the day.
The Candac Bar, sponsored by Rhymney Brewery, will be open for a selection of quality of drinks.
Please make the effort to attend the day, if only to sit and chat about the Martyrs over a pint or two. There's been no game since 12th December and funds are needed, so come along and enjoy an afternoon of pub games, beer, football and fun.
